Hello,
I have really weird issue with one of the user. We cannnot delete any folder on her laptop from windows itself. We can delete it from comand prompt. When we look at the properties of folder, it has read-only attribute. After unchecking that, and hit enter, it reverts back to read-only. We could not delete folder. Other hand, we can delete any files within it or anywhere. It doesn't give any error message, folder will just stay there. Tried different profile--no use tried disjoining and rejoining the domain - no use. Ran chkdsk - no use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please note that we have about 500 users with same XP Image and only one user has this problem. Thanks Sunny |

Taking ownership doesn't solve the problem.
Please note that this is not just one folder. Its entire Windows Explorer folders. Cannot delete any folders.
