Am I dumb or what?

To anyone--I just purchased a NEC 16XDVD+-R/RW Double Layer Drive. It came
with Nero Express 6 Burning software(OEM version). I have not been able to
do anything with this software. What do I need to burn, convert files to be
burned to DVD(from hard drive), or just play a DVD movie? I am very
frustrated so far, and am considering sending it back!! Please Help!!!

Did you install it?
It needs to be installed.

First get the update for Nero 6
Then run Nero Smart Start, on its left side click on Manuals.
Read them all and learn to use the software.

Use Windows Media Player 9 or better to watch DVD's or find something on the
net.
