External USB Drive - Cannot see copied files
I have an old PC which barely boots up so I want to copy my pictures to an
external hard drive. When I 'copy' the files to the hard drive I can see them. However, when I attach the USB hard drive to my new PC (or my Mac), I cannot see those files? Why? It seems like I have not given permission for the other computers to see what I have copied? (Even though I know they are there). Please advise.
