Default 4 monitors?

Can anyone recommend a video card that has the ability to hook up 4 monitors
that will work in windows 2000 & Windows XP (both Pro)?

Sure, but as usual, we are going to need more info. Analog or digital,
PCI, DVI, PCIe, AGP.
It also depends on your Motherboard, as not all motherboards support
all cards. Example if your motherboard doesn't support QUAD PCI
Express don't order a Xentera GT4 AGP video card because it will not
work.
So what do you want to do with it and what do you want to do it on. As
for me, if the app works with my laptop, then I figure it will work
with an Xentera GT4 AGP video card because they use the same chip set,
ATI Radeon 9000. If it don't work on my laptop then it probably wont
work on a Xentera GT4 AGP video card. And by work I mean if the
video/graft don't cut it, it don't work.

AGP would be nice. The monitors are old-ish, so analogue?

Why the hell do you need four monitors? nVidia/ATi Manufactures a Twin
DVI card. You are able to split 1 DVI into 2 Sub-D conections. Most
boards DO NOT restrict what is active on the PCI/AGP/ISA bus(ses), so
that shouldn't be a problem.
