Somehow I have lost the entry of Outlook Express in the Internet Explorer>Tools>Internet Options>Programs>E-mail drop down menu. I do have the Microsoft Outlook entry and the blank which appears. My Newsgroups entries do include both and I can and do use Outlook Express for my mail. What has happened? How can I correct this deficiency? Thanks. -- Don Spam is to the Internet as cholesterol is to the arteries. |

How can I correct this deficiency? Thanks. Go to Start > Run and type the following: "C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg (Check the path to msimn.exe to make sure that is correct) Make certain to include the quotations marks and the space between the ending quotation mark and the slash. Then open Internet Explorer and go to Tools\Internet Options\Programs and set OE as the default mail (and news) program. HTH ![]() |
