Default new dvd-rw

l have fitted a new dvd-rw l got for xmas and l replaced it wire for wire
from my old dvd-r and now ive lost my cd and dvd drives can anyone help please

Check the jumper settings on the drives.


You need one set as Master and the other set to Slave

Normally, most CD / DVD drives (burner included) do not need a driver to be
installed. They use the standard MS drivers that exist in XP. You need to
install the included DVD creation tools since Microsoft has not made XP to
burn DVD media natively.
