When I open the control panel, it open minimized. If I maximize, expand the
columns and then close with file, close, it will stay maximized for several more times, then go back to minimized with the columns closed. What do I need to do to fix this forever. Thanks for helping solve a minor irritant. Using WinXP Pro, latest updates |

Try instead of using the maximize button, placing your pointer on the
corner/s and dragging it to full size. Then hold down the ctrl key and click the close (X) button and see if it will continue to open to the size you dragged it to. -- Brian A. Thanks, that seems to fix the problem for now. One wonders what controls such
things. Fred "Brian A." wrote: > Try instead of using the maximize button, placing your pointer on the > corner/s and dragging it to full size.
