HI

After reinstalling xp pro on compaq 8154EA the onboard ethernet adapter is
lost.Where can I find the driver on the net?
I run "Unknowndevice.exe" and I got this
"Chip intel corporation 82801DB LAN controller with 82562ET/EZ PHY (ICH4 A1
step)"

Chipset network adaptors can be impossible to find -as Michael said try the
Compaq website-it might be described as a chipset driver. The Intel website
would also be worth a look. It is surprising though that the installation
script missed an Intel device?
