"add or remove programs" trouble

Since I got my ipod, i have been having to install and uninstall ipod,
itunes, and quicktime software multiple times. I have obviously done
something wrong because now when I try remove them from "add or remove
programs" it won't let me. Thanks for any help.

Hi, any error codes, they can direct you to problem source quickly.

Unfortunately, when I try to remove there are no codes. The screen simply
flashes for a split second and the program is still there.
