Default Windows Crash

I am experiencing random crashes or reboots in windows. They seem to be
happening when the computer is really cranking such as during a backup or
system scan. The computer just reboots and returns to "normal" on its own
with no error messages. Any suggestions????

Default RE: Windows Crash

Does the event logs give any information? (Control Panel > Administrative
Tools > Event Viewer). Make sure you do a virus scan to ensure you dont have
any bugs in your system.
