hi...
windows xp pro /ser pack 2 on Christmas i get sony dvd 403 handycam ... problem: when i plug it in to my pc using usb port....and open windows explorer...then ...my computer...i can see my two hard drives ,floppy,dvd drive, cd-rw drive and my web cam ...but cant see my sony dvd-rw drive..;( i try my son's pc and no problems , try my daughter pc no problem (it show in windows explorer as a sony dvd-rw drive) can see sony dvd-rw drive with out installing any sony driver in their computers i have installed sony driver for using with their software...but any other program cant see it.. for instance : ms movie maker recognize my video card and my web cam...but cant see sony dvd drive .. i try two other programs and the same story... please help me to solve this problem.. thank you very much natka ******Unplug your web cam then try it. Did you follow installation procedure, as given in Sony bumph, I think not

Movie Maker can't import DVDs... you must convert the files to something
more suitable first.
