Default Duplicate name exists on the network

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue. Thanks.

Rename the "Full computer name" of one or more of those computers connected
to your network. E.g. if all called "Steve" then rename as Steve, Steve1,
Steve2, etc..

My Computer / Properties / Computer Name - Change

Thank Mart for your reply.
I went to my computer, right click properties,changed name frome HOME to BIG
IRON. Cliked apply ,closed and rebooted.
balloon message "Windows-system error, Duplicate name exists on the network,
I change the name of the network group name from work group to mobile home.
clicked finnish and ok to reboot. Same message after reboot.
Note: I am not part of a network work group. I am connected to a wire-less
local hot spot and have no connection prblems.
