error code....

hi

I have been trying to download a programme from a us webtv company! a well
known one.

But when i click,a box pops up telling me that i have a problem with
"windows media player" and it gives the error number. its this...80040200.
please can anyone explain what i need to do?

Do you get any other message than just the number 80040200? It could be a
problem with codecs. See this page:

hi! with your fantastic assistance i went to that site found the right files
and downloaded them!

Boy they work great with my videos,and movies!

It took me a while to copy down all the correct codes and websites but in
the end all the work was worth it. and that is only thanks to you.

i will be visiting this site whenever i get into any kind of pc problem in
the future.
