Hi, i had changed my XP display to 200 DPI to play a game on my TV,but after the game i did not set display back to 96 DPI form the TV screen but went to my little LCD to find out everything so huge and i was expecting it, but what i didn't expect is that winXP HE won't adapt its main control windows commands so i can use them properly. Now all the basic contols in the lower windows are literally inaccessible as i can't drag any window up enough to click on Apply,OK or Cancel buttons. There must be a way to move windows more up or diagonaly or does it mean XP became useless because of that?! Any help would be very, very much appreciated. thanx -- x-nervous |

Restart your computer in safe mode.. press F8 just after the initialisation
screen disappears.. repeated stabs is a good way to ensure that you get to the safe mode boot menu.. when in safe mode, you can reset your display adapter back to 96dpi.. -- Mike Hall MVP - Windows Shell/User "x-nervous" <x-nervous.20yv39@pcbanter.net> wrote in message news:x-nervous.20yv39@pcbanter.net... > > Hi, i had changed my XP display to 200 DPI to play a game on my TV,but > after > the game i did not set display back to 96 DPI form the TV screen but > went to my little LCD to find out everything so huge and i was > expecting it, but what i didn't expect is that winXP HE won't adapt its > main control windows commands so i can use them properly. > > Now all the basic contols in the lower windows are literally > inaccessible as i can't drag any window up enough to click on Apply,OK > or Cancel buttons. > > There must be a way to move windows more up or diagonaly or does it > mean XP became useless because of that?! > > Any help would be very, very much appreciated. > thanx > > > -- > x-nervous |

Thanx for help Rick and Mike... in Debugging Mode it seemed to have forced reduced display but it still wasn't enough, while alt+space+m couldn't move it above.
