i have had a TI 4200 x 8xAGP with 128 megs of RAM for 4 years. I just noticed
that it will not play any game with even moderate graphics. It plays videos and simple graphics without any problems. The graphics distort and skip for a few seconds and then the entire computer locks up and the reset button is the only way to end the program. The games I tried to run were Star Trek Bridge Commander and Destroyer Commander. Both of these games ran fine last year, but I haven't I haven't tried to run anything more graphically intense than office in at least a year. System is a 2.8 gigahertz with 512 meg Ram. |
