Black Screen when starting Win XP
Can anyone help me please. 3 out of every 5 starts result in a Black Screen
as the Windows Logo appears ....its dark but barely visible. The unacceptable solution is to keep re-booting until I get a valid screen. I have looked at Q314503 ...installed the Recovery Console ...but then get stuck with an invalid Admin password problem as described in Q308402 ...which suggests contacting Help and Support. I seem to be going around in circles !! -- Jon
