Hi,
I get the "all programs" menu, but when I right click it, to sort it; the menu flashes instantaneously, and is gone. Is it just, that I'm not a "Windows user", kinda guy ? Ken . |

Right click on the start button and select Properties.
In the window, select the Start Menu tab and click the topmost Customize button In the new window, click the advanced tab. Put a check mark in the "Enable dragging and dropping" item. Ken,
One thing I noticed, when I used the standard Start Menu, when I select "All Programs" nothing shows up...it's like the "All Programs" group doesn't have anything to show. However, when I change to "Classic Start Menu" when I select the "Programs" group I do have programs listed. "S. Hi,
That did it. Thank-you. And - is seems - to have cured a lot of other little problems, that have been bugging the task-bar. The quick launch, was taking fifteen minutes to refresh; and the start menu, was taking too long. Seems like a strange bug, to be so far-reaching, in its harm. Thanks, Ken .
