Default 2 Windows XP OS in computer

hello there,

When i boot my computer i get a screen in the BIOS that asks me to choose
between two operating systems and both are windows XP. Is there a way I can
get rid of one in order for me to save some space on the hard drive. If i do
this will I also lose any saved data. I also get a RUNDLL error once the
windows load.

Please advise.
Thanks,

Go into your system properties by right-clicking on 'my computer' and
selecting properties. On the advanced tab, there is a 'startup and
recovery' section.

When you click on the settings tab you will be presented with a window
that allows you to choose which option is the default and whether or not
you want to be able to choose at startup. If you uncheck the box
labeled "Time to disply list of operating systems" It will boot with the
default choice.
