I recently bought the Microsoft Wireless Optical Pro keyboard and mouse
pack. The mouse always works perfectly. I am running xp pro and have two users on the PC. I have the mouse hooked up through the USB connection and the keyboard hooked up by the PS2 port. I am having an issue with the pc losing the hardware for the Keyboard. Most of the time if I log in everything works fine, but if my wife logs in to her login first it is missing the hardware. As soon as you pres any button the keyboard xp freezes, Keyboard and Mouse stop working. Every so often when I log in I get the same problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver 3 times. I have hit the button on the receiver, but seem to freeze xp. I have tried the channel button on the keyboard, and I get the same result. I have downloaded the newest driver from Microsoft, which is the same that was included on the disk. It work perfect for the first three days, either of us could log in with no issues, but has not worked correctly for a week now. Any ideas? Thanks in advance |
