Hi Wesley. The link to microsoft page I read and re-read,don't understand
it.Could you explain in very simple terms even I can follow?.
The other link had the right heading but when I clicked to RUN it,I got
something that stated could not fix as required value not found.
Sorry to be a pain but really need some help here.I've used a program called
TuneXP several times that requires you to put original disc in drive(Windows
File Checker)and thought this would replace whatever I was missing but
hasn't.Thx.Bruce

Bruce,

This message?
[[This script cannot repair your issue. The expected Registry value was not
found.]]

The script looks for SB Audigy 2 Startup Menu value in
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
This is a real common problem with Dell machines that have an OEM version of
the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 sound card. But it isn't the only thing that
causes the System32 folder to open at startup.

Try this.

Open the Registry Editor...
Start | Run | Type: regedit | Click OK |
Navigate to...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run
Right click on the Run folder | Select Export | For File name type: hkcu |
Save to your Desktop |

Navigate to...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
Right click on the Run folder | Select Export | For File name type: hklm |
Close regedit |

Right click hkcu on your Desktop and select: Edit | Select all the text and
Copy |
Paste into a message | Close hkcu |

Right click hklm on your Desktop and select: Edit | Select all the text and
Copy |
Paste into a message | Close hklm |

Post back with that info and we'll see if we can find what's wrong and try
to fix it.
