Default New Email Address

If I get a new email address (a new ISP - not hotmail) do I have to start
over and get a new passport etc. to use MSN Messenger or Windows Messenger.

Yes, if you want to use the new email address. However, you can always
continue to use the hotmail address

Usually takes a full day for your contact list to properly propagate.
