Default Messenger 7.5

I am using MSN 7.5, and I have one major complaint about the application. It
does not allow scrolling back to an earlier point in the conversation, it always
jumps back to the end. That is a huge pain in the ass, when I'm talking to
someone, and if I miss something that they said, that I can't simply scroll back
up to figure out what was said.

Greetings Harald,

I'm afraid this is by design although apparently they're re-working it for future versions.
