Has anyone ever been able to make MSN (video connection) work thru
winroute 6.0.11. I have dicked with UPnP settings and traffic policy till I am blue in the face but everytime I check the connection status in MSN is shows that I connected through a non-UPnP firewall. This is driving me nuts as Kerio says it should work. |

For all those who maybe interested, solved my own problem. 1. enable UPnP (Advanced Options) 2.set up traffic policy as follows: source: lan destination: internet service: SIP UDP 7001 (port) UPnP Windows Messenger action: permit translation: NAT (default outgoing interface) tested both audio and video. Many thanks to Bill and his buddies for creating such a security problem. :-) |
