msn won't let me send

Sorry everyone if this is a bother I don’t think any ones asked this
before I hope you can help me cause its driving me NUTs

I have this problem with msn messenger 7.0-7.5

it sometimes goes wack and doesn’t let me send any text messages
during a conversation …sometimes it’s only for a little while most its
like for ever
this is what it shows even when I’m just talking to one person:

The following message could not be delivered to all recipients:
~~~~~~~~~~~text~~~~~~~~~~~~~


on 7.0 I tried sighing off and then in and it still doesn’t work
so then I upgraded it to 7.5 and I get the same problem
I then uninstalled it then reinstalled it ..still the same thing after
that I did it again but with out uninstalling it just reinstalled it
with repair but it still started up again
I’m not saying it won’t let me send anything at all it just acts up a
lot

I use windows XP
and IE
Please can anyone help me ?
