Greetings Patrick,
To remove this, click Start, then click Run and enter "regedit.exe" and click OK. Then navigate (it's like Windows Explorer) to My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Wind ows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail\yourmsnname@hotmail. com Where yourmsnname@hotmail.com is the passport. Double-click the MessageCount and enter 0 as the value (this will set back to none). Then click OK, close the registry editor, and log out to see the change. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2005 Jonathan Kay.
