Greetings Amor,
Try clicking Start, then Run, typing "msmsgs" and then click OK. If that doesn't work, try "msnmsgr". If those don't work, you're on your own You could always try the WebMessenger assumingyou have web access: http://webmessenger.msn.com ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2005 Jonathan Kay. Hi Amor,
If you can't run it, you probably can't install it again (as installing Messenger requires administrative privileges). I mean there are ways around this, but I'm curious as to why you're trying to circumvent a policy that obviously is in place for a reason. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2005 Jonathan Kay. Hi Amor,
Without seeing how the network is setup, I can't answer that. If you really want, try putting Messenger on a floppy disk/USB drive and try and run it off there. If you're still blocked, try renaming the executable itself and then try running it again. Otherwise, I'd suggest the use of a mobile phone for "urgent" needs. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2005 Jonathan Kay.
