When you start Messenger, I really do not want it to stay minimized in the
taskbar taking up space. How can I make it just stay in the system tray area? You can configure Blackberry Desktop software that when minimized it will go to the tray, so can Messenger do this also? -- Spin |

Click on the close button (X) instead of minimise (_). It won't actually
close, but it hides itself from the taskbar and keeps an icon in the notification area.
