Default MSN connection errors

Well, I'm frustrated. A little bit disappointed.

Since I installed the MSN 7.5 client, beeing connected to the MSN network
becomes more and more difficult each day... I'm not an "MSN addict" but
sometimes I *need* to speak with someone, and constantly seeing various
messages like "MSN Network is currently unavailable" or "Cannot connect to
the server, click here to test your connection" (approx. translation since I
use the French version of MSN Messenger) makes me MAD !

My network is very simple, and fully functionnal. Windows internal firewall
is not activated. The tool bunddled with MSN in order to diagnose connection
errors is always happy to say to me "No problems detected, you should be
abble to connect to the MSN network !". Okay, as a result, the problem is on
YOUR side. I don't know if you've changed the protocol itself or upgraded
your servers with the 7.5 version but I want you to be aware that *there is a
problem*.

NB: Well, after 20 tries, I'm now connected ! I'm happy ;-)

Default Re: MSN connection errors

Greetings Adrien,

Yes, simply connecting to the service has become slightly unreliable -- although two attempts
are usually the norm if there's a problem -- I assume your 20 was exaggeration
