Thanks for your pleasant reply.
I have just installed MSN Messenger v.8 beta but when I open it I have a troble. Infact it opens a window and I see this writing: "The passport ID used to sign in is not allowed access to this beta version. Why I have this problem? What have I do precisely? I'm sorry my inexperience. thanks again, bye Ulisse |

Greetings,
The beta is not public and as such you have to have a "beta passport" in order to access it. You'll need to wait for the real thing or obtain a beta invitation (which haven't been given out large scale as of yet). ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2005 Jonathan Kay. Yes, like Jonathan has told you, you need to be in the Beta program, this is
a new type of authentication.
