Default Installing Windows Messenger

I went on the Internet to install windows Messenger, but when I clicked on
the Download button, it took me to the Windows XP to install service pack 2
and it appears I already have all the updates. So how do I download Windows
Messenger?

What is the difference between MSN Messenger and WIndows Messenger? In MSN
Messenger (7.5) I can't use whiteboard, remote control and share applications.

Greetings,

You need Windows Messenger to be installed to use these functions in MSN Messenger.

You can grab Windows Messenger from here:
