Is there a place where IM transmissions are logged. I received an url link

Greetings,
On its own with no third-party software, Windows Messenger does not log or archive conversations (unless you click the File menu, Save As option before closing the window). If you have Messenger Plus! installed, you can find the chat logs (by default) in My Documents\My Chat Logs. If you're using MSN Messenger and have turned the option on, you can simply right-click a contact on the contact list and choose View Message History. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2005 Jonathan Kay.
