Default Video messaging

I am new to MSN and want to talk to my granddaughter she can see and here me
and I can see her but cannot hear her. At first my anti virus(Norton) blocked
but I ve freed that but still cannot hear. Help

Each of you test your hardware in Messenger/Tools/AdioVideo Setup AND
Tools/Options/Connection/Advanced Settings/.... I suspect your daughter's
microphone is not correctly setup; she should check the mic in Control
Panel/Sound.....
