Default Windows Messenger & MSN Messenger

I have tried about all I can think Of and everything sujjested, and still not
a working Messenger. With 5.1 it does work, but only manualy. I have to
sign in every time I boot up. It should sign on automatically. I can't even
uninstall it because it is not the version that came with my system.

Can someone help me fix this to where it will log on automatically, or will
i have to format again and just do without a messenger? Maybe microsoft is
falling through its own cracks and not turning out as good of a product as it
used to.

Default RE: Windows Messenger & MSN Messenger

I noticed this behavior when I installed MSN Messenger 7.5. For some reason
it took over the auto start option even when it wasn't in use. If I remember
correctly I adjusted something in the Outlook settings and it re-enabled the
option. I'm now using Office Communicator and MSN Messenger seperatly and
they both auto start correctly. Hope that helps or at least you have other
options.
