Greetings,
Simply click Start, then Run, type "MMSYS.CPL" and click OK. Then click the Sounds tab, and find the "New Message" under Windows Messenger or MSN Messenger (depending on which application you're referring to) under Program events. Simply choose the option and then choose (None) for the sound. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2005 Jonathan Kay.
