I have recently installed WindowsXP Pro.
Am using Outlook Express. I have unchecked the box in Messenger Preferences so it won't run on Windwos startup. I have also Unchecked the Box in Outloo Express Options so it won't automatically log on to windows messenger. HOWEVER, Messenger always loads when I open Outlook Express. How do I prevent this program from running? I don't have any use for it. Thank you. |

Greetings Andrea,
To stop this behavior, close Outlook Express, then download and run the following .reg file: http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...ssenger_oe.reg After this, Messenger will no longer load with OE.
