Default Error when starting this device

Hey,

I keep getting this message when i try to capture from video device.
After i select the file name and where to save my files I then click next
and a message appears saying "the vidoe device cannot be used this time
because there has been an error when starting this device"

I have the d-link DUB AV300 capture device. It works fine with windvd.

Also when you clck on capture drom video device it does recognise that the
capture is there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this program looks alot better than
windvd

Default Re: Error when starting this device

Movie maker does not often recognise analogue connections. I believe this
connects by usb, so this will be the problem. It probably also makes mpeg
files, which don't work well with MM, so either carry on using windvd or the
app which came with the device.
