Hi,
I am trying to capture NTSC video by going thru my videocam (Canon Elura 65), and then thru FireWire to the computer, and capture by MovieMaker. The problem is that MovieMaker tries to rewind tape, etc. Then when I use the manual control setting, I cannot see any video inside MM. What is the procedure for making this happen. I am trying this approach since I have had a hard time grabbing analog video by MM. steve |

assuming you have MM2.1 which has the pass-through feature, you shouldn't
have a tape in the digital camcorder. the Setup > MM2.1 page of my site has a section about using the pass-thru feature. -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 website - http://www.papajohn.org tips and tricks: http://www.simplydv.co.uk/simplyBB/viewtopic.php?t=4693 Online Newsletters: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/PapaJohn/Index.aspx "newb guy" <none@noone.com> wrote in message news:11kdt012jvqv2c4@news.supernews.com... > Hi, > I am trying to capture NTSC video by going thru my videocam (Canon Elura > 65), and then thru FireWire to the computer, and capture by MovieMaker. > > The problem is that MovieMaker tries to rewind tape, etc. Then when I use > the manual control setting, I cannot see any video inside MM. > > What is the procedure for making this happen. > > I am trying this approach since I have had a hard time grabbing analog > video by MM. > > steve > |
