When I create a subtitle overlay to display over a clip and then insert other
clips before the one with the subtitle the subtitle does stay with theoriginal clip - it stays the same place on the the Title Overlay timeline. -- RBL |

You can either drag the sub-title clip to its appropriate place or do all of your video edits first and then add the titles. Anything you put on the Titles/Overlay line will not move with the video/audio above it. PJ |

Thanks, PJ. I was afraid that's the way it works. Wish they did stay stuck
or that we had a choice, but at least I'll save all of them for last. You saved me lots of redo time. -- RBL "PJL" wrote: > > BluePhrog <BluePhrog@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:0D3379CD-BD8B-4479-A428-24E2026ECB5E@microsoft.com... > > When I create a subtitle overlay to display over a clip and then insert > other > > clips before the one with the subtitle the subtitle does stay with > > theoriginal clip - it stays the same place on the the Title Overlay > timeline. > > -- > > RBL > > It won't stay with the clip, it stays on the same place where you first > dropped it. With all the comments that have been made on this subject I would not be
surprised to see the ability to lock the titles with the clips in an updated WMM in the future. -Wojo "BluePhrog" <BluePhrog@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:02647551-AE36-4704-A8EC-EA6E22F6F9FF@microsoft.com... > Thanks, PJ.
