I was in the middle of viewing the red x's when everything in the
applications list just disappeared. some message popped up, but i'm so annoyed with my computer right now I can't even remember what it said. I think it's time for a new computer. Mine is 4 years old. Is that old? BTW - there were many red x;s ass. with MM2. I assume that is b/c I kept opening the file and attempting to work on it. I remember the applications gave me some microsoft web link - but I didn't link to it before everything disappeared. I'm just venting. -- LoriSLP |

The red x's mean that movie maker cannot find the file that you initially
used. You may have moved the file or deleted it. You can use teh relocate file option if it's just been moved, if deleted, look in the recycle bin in case it's still there and then move it back, otherwise it's time to start again. -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "LoriSLP" <LoriSLP@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:BC5B88D4-95E8-4E24-BEA0-DA5496F92919@microsoft.com... >I was in the middle of viewing the red x's when everything in the > applications list just disappeared. some message popped up, but i'm so > annoyed with my computer right now I can't even remember what it said.
