I have imported a song to add to my edited video. I have changed to volume on
the video clips. I also split the imported music clip to change volume in certain spots. When I play this on Movie Maker, it sounds just fine. However, when I send it to my Sony DCR-HC40, the music restarts from the beginning of the song at each split. I have retried several times, and have even started over as a new project. Same results. Am I missing something here?...Plays fine, records incorrectly. Thanks for the HELP! |

This can often happen with audio file types that MM doesn't like, such as
MP3. If you have used this, convert it to WAV/WMV/WMA and try again. Thank you so very much! I took your advice and it worked (I'm sure not to
your surprise). I am now able to stop pulling the hair out of my skull and get this little flick accomplished on schedule. Thank you again!
