When I try to play a clip after dragging it to the timeline, it has no audio.
I've tried enabling and disabling all the filters, but there's still no sound. I've also enabled the 'download codecs automatically' option. I'm aware there are problems with mpg files. How can I covert mpeg to avi or other compatible files without downloading new software? Also, when capturing video from my JVC mini dvc, I can get to the 'Video Setting' menu but it freezes when I click NEXT. It freezes quite a lot. Any advice is appreciated. |

1st question, you can't unless you already have the software on the pc, so
google, but be careful you don't end up with a divx avi convertor. 2nd question, It sounds like you have used USB, change this to firewire, then you will capture dv-avi files and question 1 goes to the recycle bin ![]() -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "Darkling54" <Darkling54@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news B97B377-EF3C-4635-A601-0344C028CB30@microsoft.com...> When I try to play a clip after dragging it to the timeline, it has no > audio. > I've tried enabling and disabling all the filters, but there's still no > sound.
