Default Capture analog input as AVI

I have a Hi-8 Sony camcorder. Is there a way to trick MM in to thinking it is
digital so I can capture as AVI?

Default Re: Capture analog input as AVI

Only way to do it is to send it in as digital, so you'd need to buy an
analogue to digital convertor, such as the advc range from www.canopus.com
