Editing a project

I made two different movies (projects?) and saved them to my hard disk. I
want to now take some clips from one and put it in the other. But, all I can
do is view or play the movie. How do I get into it or see it as clips like
when I was putting it together? How can I export from one movie to import to
the second one. I am very new at this. Thanks for any help.

Unless you saved the actual project used to create the movie you can't open
the video to see the clips within it. The only thing you can do is import it
into WMM and create clips to use in your other video.
