Hey. I'm new the group. I have to type fast. Kids are on the way home.
I've been reading old questions and answers but haven't found the one to help me out. I burned my first DVD. Yeh. But I can't play it on my DVD player. Ney. I saved my windows movie maker file to my computer as a DV-AVI file. I opened my new MyDVD software and created the DVD. Why won't it play on my DVD player? |

assuming it plays OK on your computer, try it on some other DVD players...
it might be an older DVD player that can't read computer-made discs, or it could be a disc incapability... -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 website - http://www.papajohn.org MM2 Tips and Tricks: http://www.simplydv.co.uk/simplyBB/viewtopic.php?t=4693 Online Newsletters: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/PapaJohn/Index.aspx "Nick@Nite" <Nick@Nite@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2D501AA3-8085-49C8-85D0-5B13419C64C9@microsoft.com... > Hey. You're probably right. After doing more research I found a website -
videohelp.com - where you can put in your TV's DVD model # and it will tell you which DVD formats it supports based soley on the users findings. Based on this info I am going to try DVD-R. Thanks for responding.
