Hi All,
Making an animiation movie and came across this issue; I have taken several (100's) of pictures on my digi camera. I have imprted them into movie maker, but each picture is 3 seconds long. Is there anyway of trimmming all the images back to 1 second or do I have to trim each one, one at a time? Many thanks for your help Marucs |

change the picture duration option to 1 second before dragging them to the
timeline.... Tools > Options > Advanced tab > Picture duration it won't change those you already have in a project, but it'll be your new default setting until you change it again -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 website - http://www.papajohn.org MM2 Tips and Tricks: http://www.simplydv.co.uk/simplyBB/viewtopic.php?t=4693 Online Newsletters: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/PapaJohn/Index.aspx "MMouse99" <MMouse99@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6FD7DEF8-7562-45D4-8DC0-FF17E613EC64@microsoft.com... > Hi All, > > Making an animiation movie and came across this issue; > > I have taken several (100's) of pictures on my digi camera. > > I have imprted them into movie maker, but each picture is 3 seconds long. > > Is there anyway of trimmming all the images back to 1 second or do I have > to > trim each one, one at a time? > > Many thanks for your help > > Marucs |

There is no way to auto trim them after they have been placed on the
timeline. It would be easier if you make another project but before you place them on the timeline, change the default picture duration to 1 sec from Tools->Options->Advaced. This duration will be used for any picture you place to the timeline/storyboard afterwards. -- Rehan MS MVP -- Digital Media www.rehanfx.org - get transitions and effects for Windows Movie Maker "MMouse99" <MMouse99@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6FD7DEF8-7562-45D4-8DC0-FF17E613EC64@microsoft.com...
