Default Importing movie files

Hi
Before I begin its only right to warn you that I a bit of a techno idiot.

I am putting together a presentaion via movie maker of our Club's year. The
presentation is for use at our annual dinner dance this weekend.

I have most of it done but am having problems importing some small movies.

1. When I import one of the files it states "The file
C:\Galvin\Mulligangoal.wmv is not indexed and cannot be imported."
The file is a Windows Media Audio/Video file.

2. Another file just causes the program to freeze up indefintely. There is
no error.
That file is a Movie file (mpeg).

Can anyone help?

Thanks galvinearly@btopenworld.com

Default Re: Importing movie files

for the WMV file indexing, see the Importing Source Files > Video > WMV page
of my site...

and see Importing > Video > MPEG-2 for the other...
