Default Using the Timeline

Is it possible to put a clip or image on the timeline where I want it? Every
time I drag anything to the video timeline it puts it at the beginning. Thanks

The video clips can't have spaces... the beginning for the first one, and
snugged up tightly to the left as you add more.

If you want to have space in the middle of two clips then place a blank
still image or anemty title with the required color and extend its duration
as required.

Thanks Darcy... yes, for a fairly simple software package, there's more than
enough to write a book about.

One of my favorite comments about the book was by someone who said it
answered the questions that he didn't even know he had.

Lots of enjoyment with your projects!!!
