I have successfully used Sony Click to DVD to transfer VHS analog video to
DVD. I now am trying to transfer old 8mm SILENT films to DVD by using an analog camcorder and a "shadow box" device (camcorder records 8mm projection). Since 8mm films are silent I want to add background music to video but Click to DVD has no feature to allow this. I've never used WMM, but in reviewing the program it looks as though it will allow user to add background music to captured video. Problem... when I click Capture Video, WMM tells me a capture device was not detected. My PC is a Sony VGC-RB43G which came with internal capture device which is how Click to DVD has worked successfully. I really need to uses WMM to take advantage of the background music feature. I've read similar threads where it has been stated that WMM does "not like" capturing analog signals. However, I really need it to. An help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Click to DVD captures into MPEG-2 files, which don't work with Movie Maker.
