I have an HP m7100e and Sony 8mm camcorder. When using "Capture form Video
Device" the video captures fine but I am unable to capture audio. Any suggestions? |

How is it connected?
Audio generally has to be connected to the sound card line in, and this has to be set as the option in movie maker and in the volume control. http://www.myvideoproblems.com/Tutor...AudioInput.htm -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "RUFan" <RUFan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:19D3B1D3-FE29-42A7-9812-D614E0A61B4D@microsoft.com... >I have an HP m7100e and Sony 8mm camcorder. Thanks. I did some experimenting and was able to capture audio by going from
audio "out" on the camcorder to microphone "in" on the PC. This seems to work fine. ha ha....your question brought back memories. I once connect my dazzle
device between a sony 8 and my computer, and it took me half a day to finally figure out that the choice of 'microphone in' was the correct one. "RUFan" wrote: > Thanks.
