Default Unable to Import some video files

When I attempt to import some video files I receive the following error:
Sep 25-Channel 10 (12 20 pm).mpg could not be imported. An interface has too
many methods to fire events from

Any Ideas?

You should convert MPEG-2 files to AVI before importing into Movie Maker...
see the Importing Source Files > Video > MPEG-2 page of my website.

How to iconvert npeg to avi?? could not find on your site?

go to www.papajohn.org and then the menu at the left to the Importing Source
Files > Video > MPEG-2 page.... expand the folders as needed

I had the same problem, however if I open Windows Media Player and leave it
minimized in the background I can then import the video files.
